Synopsis:
"Gospel" means "good news". What is the "good news" of the Bible? What are the fundamental teachings of
the Bible and what does it mean to us? What does the Bible tell us about God, what He wants from us and the
work of his son, Jesus? What happens when we die? Over fourteen sessions, this workshop
style seminar allows participants to discover the key elements of the gospel

Duration: 1.5 hours per session, one session per week for 14 weeks
Materials supplied:
- Workbook
- Pens and Paper
- Story of the Bible (preferred)
- Learn to Read the Bible Effectively (preferred)
Aims & Goals:
- Our main goal is for you to enjoy learning about the Bible so we aim to make the learning environment relaxed, interesting and fun.
- Participants discover the Bible’s core teachings related to man, God, the work of Jesus, life after death and implications to life today.
Methods: This course is largely workshop or exercise based and driven by participants. Participants work in small groups overseen by moderators and work through a series of exercises. Participants use the tools from Learn to Read the Bible effectively and the context from Story of the Bible to draw their own conclusions on fundamental Bible teachings related to God, Jesus, life after death and God’s plan for mankind.
What will be expected of me? As with any course, "you get out what you put in" so the more you participate the more you will get out of the course. This may involve reading materials between classes or participating in discussion. Again, these things are optional for you.

- Focus on Characters and Concepts
- Jesus and his work
- The nature of man
- Life after death
- The source of temptation
- Timeline of God’s Plan – an in depth study of key Story of the Bible events.
- What does this mean to me? A focus on implications of the Gospel in day to day life and the church.
